WEEK 10 (TESTING CIRCUIT)

In this week I will test the project, Firstly is, to check the connection and functionality of the project. The first test is the continuity of the circuit to check all the connection is right before the power source is on and all the connection is correct. After that, the power source will be turned on to check all the functionality of the circuit, input and output which is Arduino, Motor driver, Motor wheel, Motor pump, Ultrasonic and Infrared sensor. Next, when the all circuit and component in a good condition then the coding test will begin. Finally, the test has done and all the component are working good except two things there is Motor pump and wheel are not working well and need to troubleshoot. On the below, there is the testing video that has been recorded.

WEEK 9 (ASSEMBLE COMPONENT)

In this week after the all component completely buy, so it is the time to Assemble and connect all component together. Firstly, the robot wheel has to affix with the casing. Next the connect is start with the Arduino. After that, connect all the input and output with the Arduino. This circuit has two input the first is Ultrasonic sensor and the second is the Infrared sensor. For the output, it also has two which is12V Motor wheel and 12V Motor pump. The connection of the Window Cleaning Robot has been analyzed shown in figure 8 below. The important of circuit analysis is the right connection of the component if the connection is wrong it can cause damage to the circuit and component. For the power source of this circuit used is 12V for Motor driver and 5V for the Arduino. The rainbow color wire is used to easily know the pin and connection labeling color for the wire.

WEEK 8 ( BUY THE COMPONENT PART 2)

In this week I going to Jalan Pasar to buy another component and casing for the Window Cleaning Robot. The component that I want to buy is DC motor for the wheel, super polymer 12V battery, Robot tire, Infrared sensor and motor driver. So, the all component is already bought and ready to complete the assembly of the Window Cleaning Robot. The figure below shows the casing of the Window Cleaning Robot.

WEEK 7 (TESTING COMPONENT)

In this week I will test and check the component that I already buy the first component that I would test is Arduino board and ultrasonic sensor. To turn on the Arduino we have to put a power source on the Arduino. Arduino can supply by two type of source there is 5V and 12V. Then, the Arduino is turned on by using 5V and the Arduino is in a good condition.

Next is, to check the ultrasonic sensor whether the ultrasonic is in good condition or not. To check the ultrasonic sensor we are using Arduino software to check by applying the coding into the Arduino and connect with the ultrasonic sensor. Using Arduino we can also check the range of the ultrasonic sensor. Figure 7 below shows the coding to check the range condition of the ultrasonic sensor.
